As a classically trained Information Architect (now often included under the heading of ‘UX designer’), I’m keenly aware of how efficiency yields results. As a UX designer (starting in 1998 while at Carnegie-Mellon University) at large agencies and corporations (Sony, AOL, Teradata, Sapient) as well as smaller agencies and startups (MAYA Design, Eventful) I saw firsthand how the process of great design had become bloated, inefficient, and costly.
I created Cozy to be the efficient design group I always wanted to work in. By stripping away the layers of showmanship, the inevitable inefficiencies of a large team, and the scope creep that comes from being motivated by building a portfolio, we can offer the same caliber of design for a fraction of the cost.
